A lot of places in the Lower East side try hard to deliver an edge, but few bars effortlessly pull off being authentically cool quite like The Orchard House. From the hand crafted cocktails to their assorted cheese plates, everything is outfitted to help you unwind and have a little fun.
The menu boasts items such as crab fondue, grilled octopus and incredible array of delectable desserts. Rather than the traditional appetizer/entree meal, the menu is designed around creating the ideal dining experience. You can order a frist timer’s menu, or even a date night menu, perfect for an anniversary, or scoring extra points on a first date ;)
If you are not impresed with the modern mediteranian influenced menu, or the fact that you can order at the bar till 3 am, it might be worth mentioning that The Orchard House has inherited its space from APL complete with original wall designs by Shepard Ferry. The authentic gold sneakers that hang as a relic are a reminder that you are in one of the best spots in the city.
